Less of a soundtrack, more a complimentary album, this is an eclectic mix of music and styles synonymous with, and essential to,
all Tarantino's movies. And this one excels :) As usual, Quentin Tarantino has an unquestionable taste for music but it was a true challenge to put in music its movie.
Exploiting the Western and Asian kinds, how to make cohabit these two musical kinds without falling into stereotypes ?
All of Tarantino's musical culture passed there. The few traditional old classicals of the Sixties and Seventies forgotten for a long time were unearthed and the
first song seems, at least one could believe it, to have inspired the producer. Or then this is an ironic wink. Always it is that this medley of song, all more
pleasant to hear from one to each other, mixes perfectly and perfectly adapted to the story. With Tarantino as executive album producer you know this one is going to be different,
particularly when it features artists like : Isaac Hayes, Quincy Jones, Nancy Sinatra, Wu Tang, Santa Esmeralda, etc ...
And because Quentin Tarantino had envisaged to make his story in two volumes, some of the songs gently starts the transition towards second film and its soundtrack. From the opening and poignant Bang Bang ( My Baby Shot Me Down ) through the original score work by Wu-Tang Clan's 'The Rza', and much more, Kill Bill's album is as exciting, and almost as exhausting, to listen to as the film is to watch :) Each song selected and was carefully placed at the right place. Of course, that the musical kind please me influence my judgement but a soundtrack so well done can only please ...

I wanted to make these pages a bit more than just a picture inside a layout which would only tell : be a fan ... In fact, I think that every fan of any subject deserves a bit more, more pictures ( when it is possible ) and more texts too.
